- Aug. 31. 2015
- A Day for Art
- Central Coast Regional NorCATA Membership Meet
- at the Los Osos Studio/Office of Judith Stern, LMFT.
- Five people attended the 4 hour meeting.
Colleen Sebastian, LMFT, led an experience called "Scribble Chase." This is an exercise where a client/therapist or client/parent take part in doodling on paper with one being the leader and the other being the follower. We discussed the value of assessment when processing the experience with clients and how a simple exercise delivers much information.
Judith Stern, LMFT, led a demonstration of "small books" and how they could be made from old calendar pages and used by clients. We made a 6-inch square folding book, a 4-inch triangle-folding book and mini folding books (3X2). We used collage to cover the pages and left blank spots for journaling and additional art work.

Our next meeting will be Oct. 26.
